Changes to the Money Laundering Regulations
On 23 June 2025 the Government published its Industrial Strategy for Professional and Business Services, on P34 they have announced the importance of ensuring the Money Laundering Regulations (MLRs) are clear and proportionate and that before the end of the year HM Treasury (HMT) will bring forward a package of changes to the MLRs aimed at improving their effectiveness.
